  • @theulair Totally agree. All of the subsequent installments substituted flash and fancy photography in place of a plot and intelligent story. The word disappointing doesn't even begin to describe the cheap crap this series has become.

  • MI:GP is probably better than the first one. holy shit is it good!

  • this track, when compared to the rest of the MI score, is i think the most "elfman", like one of his tim burton scores, mainly due to the dark nature of the sound here as well as the boys choir.

  • @aramis111pacitto MI3 SUCKKKKKKEDDDD BAAALLS.

  • i own the soundtrack b danny elfman. AM.MAZING score. im a big elfman fan, his scores for almost anything are amazing. the first MI was a success i think largelt in part cuz the music was so well done. it had that terrific spy thriller sneaky sound. the original film is superior to all the crap that came after, though i do have a soft spot for MI 2 cuz john woo's stunts are awsome, but none beatthe first one. it was more true to the original series and was a great spy thriller!

  • One of the excellent scenes in the history of world cinema. But no one knows that its a COPY from telugu movie in late 60's one of the film industries from India.

  • @mglassmeyer1 Big difference between Brian De Palma and John Woo/JJ Abrams thats why

  • @mglassmeyer1 Same reason why most modern remakes suck. Today, directors generally think "Oh you want something simple because M:I was too complex? Here's something simple with action greased all over it". In M:I, the plot is complex, exciting, and meaningful enough to watch again while newer versions try to get emotional.

  • @mglassmeyer1 MI 3 was better.

  • first time i watched that rope decending scene to steal the NOC-list i was sitting on the edge of my seat. that was cool
