  • @ria9184 No it is not only Bengalis, all over India many words starting with V is pronounced, by lesser educated, as B words and even Windows is heard as Bindows. Vaisakhi in Punjab is Baisakhi and so on.The other Y words become J words, like YAMUNA-JAMUNA, YAJMAN-JAJMAN,YADAV-JADA,YASMIN-JASMIN and so on. Bengalis like O so much LIKE kajal-kajol,lata-lato.ashirwad-oshirwad,samachar-somachar. It is NO CRITICISM, just my observations and thats all.

  • @aceji- Bengalis always pronounce V as B and A as O, so Barman will be Burman example Vande Mataram will be pronounced and written as Bande Mataram by Bengalis

  • back ground voice is superb :)

  • fine and nice

  • Let me tell you the truth. Indians always for some reason mispronounce V INTO B. Confused? Well VACHAN-BACHAN, VAHU-BAHU,VRINDAVAN-BRINDABAN and so on. I have seen in a very old film titles, Music director S D VARMAN. I therefore think SDji is well known as S D BURMAN but correctly it is VARMAN or VARMA.

  • @swarmagna You got to be careful. Dear friend. RDB fans won't like what you write. But I full endorse what you have written.

  • ১০৫ তম জন্মজয়ন্তির শ্রদ্ধাঞ্জলি.......

    Kumar Shri Sachin Dev Burman

Born: October 1, 1906 in Comilla, Bangladesh

Died: October 31, 1975 (age 69) in Bombay, Maharashtra, India

  • @boiragirules I agree with your sentiment wholeheartedly. I rather not comment on RD in the light of colossal and musically original contribution of his father. Makji

  • thanks from the bottom of my heart too, I must say the more we made tribute to RD Burman we did not do much of SD Burman...and the influence he had in music and his excellent composition techniques. I do not think we did enough.

  • Thanks from the bottom of my heart for uploading this video.
