no look up 84 and look up an 85 they are really similar but the 84 doesnt look quite as good and also the rpm on the 84 looks like a roller coaster it goes up then down on the 85 and up it goes up and then to the right

I love the MPH and RPM gauge. haha, and my mom's 1993 Lumina APV has the same radio! So retro. But honestly though, those old GM radios are kinda ugly.

Wow corvettelover 1979 you didnt see it lmao and you say you know all the details. That car is a 86 or newer with a 84 dash becuase that car has a 3rd brake light. 86 was the first year with this and yes the dash was revised in 85 beacuse motortrend and all of them complained about the numbers and all were to small and hard to see. Also that car still has the 86 or newer steering wheel becuase it is the fatter style 84 and 85 where thinner whels.

It amazes me how i tell people the title says it a 86 and the seriel numbers match ,that they still insist it a 84.

to bird333333, all i know is it's a 86 and thats the dash it came with. It is a l98 engine with aluminum heads that have cracked and blown both head gaskets.

All i know is the title says 86 and the corvette i got the face plate was also an 86 with the same rpm gauge. I very much doubt that i came acroo two 86 vettes with 84 gauges.
