Back in Tokyo

Tokyo in June 2011. The after-shocks have now all but stopped but this the once most vibrant of cities is now experiencing its own traumas. The pavements have fewer people, the roads fewer cars. At night where once the city was lit up by millions of lights, these are now extinguished and the streets dark. Fountains no longer gush with water; the malls are dim but despite all this, a calmness pervades the streets.
