@MrJackbrown786 The point is that this is a college shenanigans movie from the 80's, everyone seems but hurt over completely overplayed and cliche stereotypes invented by bad writers. Everyone who was in a white collar industry that wasn't a yuppie dressed like Gates and Jobs. Aside from being smart they were ordinary all things considered.

It doesn't matter what anybody says now because nowadays nerds are hot and in style. Notice how everyone is wearing more fitting jeans and polo shirts with converses. Having booksmarts is no longer nerdy, but necessary so all your bs means nothing jocks.
