T3/4 turbo at 7 PSI Rev Hard kit with boost dependent FMU for 1 year then dyno tuned Hondata for 2 years at 10 PSI and 289 WHP then it blew...cracked a cylinder wall. Once I tore it down I saw many of the ring lands were also cracked. best pass before the motor let go

  • is t3/4 a ebay turbo?

  • @OohGGNoob It ran for 3 years on boost so I was happy. It is a GSR but tuned on Hondata.

  • @blackchidori00 type r's never came in red.

  • actually on LS b18's the cut off limit for the ecu and stock map sensor is at 10lbs, so running 10 on stock block is pushing it but, also read what he typed: before the motor went on him. so lesson learned.

  • agreed, people throw around psi like they build cars.... glad to see someone tell it like it is..lol

  • i like type R integras

  • Psi is completely irrelevant. I have seen stock blocks handle 20+ psi on 60-1's and SC61's which is a 60+ trim turbo which is what matters. It's the power that determines the amount the stock block can handle without having to be sleeved which is somewhere in the neighborhood of 500whp in some cases 600 but it's all in the tune

  • I raced a ls turbo last night with slicks I drive a 347 mustang and i must say its a impresive set up kept up for a bit then walk him

  • its not dangerous if u tune it right-im running 10psi on a stock block
