Tiqa Interactions

This is a video that many people have been waiting for. Thank you to those who have been patient, it is finally up.

Tiqa is a [currently] 9 month old beluga calf. She was born on June 10, 2008 to mother Qila and father Imaq. Tiqa is also the very first cetacean that I have ever interacted with. It was a great experience. The first 3 clips were taken on March 8, 2009 and the last clips were filmed today on March 18, 2009.

The last clip is personally my favorite interaction. It's cute.

If you see the hand anywhere [after the 3 first clips] thats my friend Jenny. We went together and she got very excited when Tiqa came down to visit.

[March 18, 2009 Trip] Tiqa came down several times to interact. She was very interactive. I bought a slinky for her but sadly lost it during my way to the aquarium, which I am very upset about.

Now THAT is the most disgusting and stupidest thing that I have ever heard. Majority of the beluga population are in Canadian waters and I don't know ANY kind of beluga incident in the wild. Belugas only live in cold regions like the Arctic and Antarctica. Only attacks that I would understand is if you harrassed or threatened them. Get YOUR crazy bullshit OFF OF YOUTUBE. Your a snake handler, what the fuck does that have to do belugas?

Get those fucking killing machines off of you tube you crazy person. I am, as stated by snake handler, a swede and we have had so much trouble with incidents involving belugas in recent years it has come to the attention of our goverment.

On the west coast, where I live (Gothenburg) the fishing industry has been especially affected by beluga activity and that is why we now have a 5000 Euro reward on each Beluga head.
