Maryland Blue Crabs are an indigenous species and delicacy of the Chesapeake Bay, the largest estuary in the United States of America. The crabs are particularly popular in the region known as DELMARVA: Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. They are usually steamed and spiced with Old Bay seasoning and often beer. Picking them is a time-consuming art form, but the reward is priceless. Here, Mrs. Crab demonstrates the proper way to pick a crab.
