LBP2 Pac Man level that just made the last day of the Beta. Still needs some work but too late now. Hopefuly will live on in this video. Music : Ageless Oblivion

  • @SinfuIBanana I was working on a way of doing that, sadly the Beta time ran out. Published this 10 hours before Beta was closed! May incorporate the logic into another level.

  • @Projectsense If you're still up for it, I'm actually working on this right now.. I'm using sackbots for actual AI. They will flee whenever pacman gets one of those powerup dots, (don't actually know their name :P), and they will pick their direction depending on pacman's position, and the walls closest to them's. I need someone to design the map, though.

  • @SinfuIBanana I was thinking about going down the sackbot route but it just became restrictive and un- pac man like. I also didn't want to make another Pac Man level that had invisible/hidden block corridors on another level. I used holographic walls and Pac Man with the walls wired to the controller. It worked well but a mess of wires (over 100). For ghost AI I was going to use sensors that gave a 'choice' for the ghost to move towards or away if pac was near.

  • make another in the real one.

  • @iluvpichu I really don't know if I have the patience to do another! Going to try something a little more original but Retro-like next.

  • The intermission was a nice touch, in the wrong place at the wrong time.

  • Bummer Pac-Man started in the wrong position and no monster AI.

  • OMG i can't believe this didn't carry over to the release LBP2. It was only up for 10 hours? This is worse then 9/11!

  • @Projectsense Yeah that sounds exactly like what I was doing before I tried using sackbots.

    I had a microchip with I think around 100 different microchips in it, each standing for another decision.. By decision I mean sensing where pac is, and where the closest walls are.. For example, If it senses a wall to the left and below, and pac is on the right, then it would move right.

    And I was going to design the map out of holograms as well. I've found a way to make holograms collide with holograms
