Nah..the chinese in SEA having been educated with Western education,assimilated into local culture and still retaining good ancient chinese wisdom(confucianism) and Buddhist compassion and so are v different from those from mainland.

Many actually was aghast at the chinese students protest and many did not have postive image of the mainland after visiting it.

All love their motherland(many died helping China fought the Japs in WW2)but not the mainlanders we see nowadays.
