It's funny, right before she started saying to look with the eyes of a child, I looked up some drawings by Degas and I had the feeling of being a child looking at them. That was how I saw women when I was a kid. I didn't see anything misogynistic about them. To me, they're just realistic portrayals of women going about their business.

This woman speaks the truth. Her analysis of art is just amazing. 2:20 is profound. Sister Wendy has good eyes to see the truth and a good mind to discern the real world.

Yes, she's magnificent. I wonder if it's feasible for the Church to canonize a woman for bringing joy, light, education and inspiration to millions of people. My Dad and I disagreed on every subject under the sun, but we came together in our love for Sister Wendy.

She is saying to drop the internal mind thoughts of your own and to take on all the messages of the art in front of you, and through that you learn how to see the world through someone else's eyes, and this teaches you new things. That is how inspiration works, by allowing the spirit of the art to possess you temporarily, for recording things. I love Sister Wendy!

She is an absolute treasure. A very, very rare human being, full of awareness and insight. I love the way she captures the essence of human experience. There is no pretention in her.

A good interviewer will always try to act a bit ignorant, so that they can draw out as much as possible from the person they are interviewing.
