Thanks for your video .. :D
I think you should keep it
-
Yeaaaaaaa! Will you make a video pleeeeeeeeease?!
-
nice that you put the question to everyone...if you have the time and energy to spare, i would say restore it the best you can. then later modifying it would be cool, once you have a fully working organ to start tinkering with, i think.
cool take on the song, seems to me an underappreciated one

fix it --it's alive not like a digital clone --lysol it or use Apple cider vinegar--to kill the smell---Charlie

I agree...Restore it !

I think you should restore it! actually if you can make it work and so, I could be interested in buying it.
But I think it's a bad idea to hot rod it!

maybe you could hook up a glade plug in to the power supply, ocean breeze...
It's a GEM model P, from about 1966. It is also known under another sobriquet: VOX JAGUAR! If option 2 turns out allright, you'll have in your posession a classic from the 60's!!! Search for 'Vox Jaguar schematics' , they're identical except a for a few resistor values. Good luck and DON'T THROW IT AWAY!!!!!

You're right. It seems that VOX had this model produced at many different plants in Europe and even in America as a kit - a HeathKit to be precise.

Or, even better: you build 2 or more trautonium-/tannerin-like controllers into there. This would be easier to play.

I have thought about making a little trautonium controller for my home build synthesizer modules. I have most of the materials including the important roll of resistance wire.

Hi!
Found the exact same keyboard in a garbage 14 yrs. ago. My ex and I put it in our place (heavy!). We had no room for it and didn't know how to make it work (severely damaged) and put it back by the garbage with a note that said "fix me, I'm cool". The next day we found these kids breaking it into pieces! Felt awful and screamed at them! :( So if you fix it, this lady would be so happpppy! Wheeeee! (the only difference between the two keyboards is the one we had had push buttons as well).
