The Crick Gypsies sing "Roebling Built a Mighty Bridge" in honor of Roebling Fest in Covington, KY in June 2011. Daylong festival celebrates and revolves around the historic John A. Roebling Bridge and the vibrant dining & entertainment district known as Roebling Point. In addition to booths that will feature local restaurants, artists and vendors, there will be activities for all ages including karaoke and several bands. Historians and the curious can take guided tours of the bridge, the Roebling floodwall murals and the bronze statues along magnificent Riverside Drive. The festival concludes with fireworks to light up the skyline. Event is free and open to the public.

Completed in 1866, the beautiful John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge served as the prototype for the Brooklyn Bridge in New York, NY and was featured in the film "Rain Man" as the "humming" bridge. The bridge was named a National Historic Landmark in 1975 and today remains one of the most beloved and iconic structures on the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky skyline.
