Pluckley is reputed to be the most haunted village in England according to the Guiness book of records and because of this it's now a hot spot for ghost hunters.

the ancient Saxon forest which spread along the whole of the South coast of England as far as the Isle of Wight and north to the Down, a high ridge of chalk hills spreading from Surrey towards Dover. The forest that remains is probably some of the oldest woodland in England, which certainly is older than the Saxons, who just named it.


Pluckley is a village and civil parish in the Ashford District of Kent, United Kingdom. It is located close to the North Downs, and is approximately 5 miles (8 km) west of Ashford. One part of the village is called Pluckley Thorne.


Because Pluckley is so known for it's ghosts, it's no surprise TV shows such as Most haunted, ghost hunters international investigated Pluckley Village. ghost inn was also featured on an episode of Sunday Night Project where Justin Lee Collins and Alan Carr with their guest host Will Young investigated a mill in Pluckley and also stayed in a tent overnight in the Screaming Woods.

@landofold To be honest with you we was very puzzled how both heard noises yet we could not hear these on camera, They were very close by to us, which made us think that we heard the noises in our own ears, maybe a spirit/s we're whispering or screaming/shouting in our ears.

Also we are not planning to end in 2012, what we meant was we are going to do 40 more new episodes and then see where we go from there:)

@JustJackTBH We would love to do lots of haunted buildings, but some charge like £700 for just a few hours. Unfortuntely at the moment we don't have the funding to do that. Thank You for your comment.

hi guys loved this vid as i live near pluckley if u are interested in ghosts it is definately a gd place to visit there is a very oppressive feeling when u enter the village, there are actually 26 ghosts and they cover the area between pluckley and bethersden various stories include an old man in the black horse pub, a cat in the graveyard, a ww2 airman and lots of others x
