  • kind of sounds a little bit handicapped in the opening 16 bars...

  • Personally, I'm very fond of this production. To me, it's the closest they came to my preferred version, the 2006 revival (which seemed to pack the most emotional punch). I think Adrian Lester made a great Bobby.

  • Clive Rowe is the BEST Pantomime Dame (check out Hackney Empire) in many years,

    it is an underated skill to do it well.

  • you're wrong there, I was in the audience and it certainly was not crap. I also saw this show "squawked" by an all american cast some years ago and this wins hands down.
