Rock you like a 427

Over the past few months I had Precision Valve & Crank in North Vancouver, B.C. build a 427 Chevy small block for my 68 Camaro. It's a Motown block with AFR heads, Scat crank, Mahle Pistons, 4340 Rods, and a Holley 750 Carb. It dyno'd at 539 HP with the Holley. With the Demon carb and a super sucker we got 562 HP and 539 Ft. Lbs of torque. I am smiling.

nice job but there is something not right in your combo. i have a 434 similar to your 427 and with el-cheepo fuel i made 100 hp more than you at the same rpm. i'm thinking either heads too small or cam not right

Nice car man! I'm actually just about to start a ford engine build with them. My buddy just had his 408Windsor dyno'd there for his race truck. I made 516 or 517 w/o the juice I think.
