What a nice perch tree! We use only apple wood for our birds (because non toxic specimens are available to us) and we find it is really one of the best woods... And our birds agree! Also, as far as fruits go, apple is one of the best on the nutrition side. So there you go, happy birds while the rest of the family sweats it out.
