Big Ideas for a Small Planet™: FASHION" - Environmental consciousness has hit the fashion world in a big way; from T-shirts and jeans to haute couture, style is coming to mean sustainable fabric and earth-friendly manufacturing practices. Now, green is coming to the store model and the dry cleaners, too. Sustainability in every form is the goal of the fashion-savvy partners of fledgling label Nau (pronounced "Now"), who are re-imagining retail by combining try-on boutiques with online fulfillment. Organic denim designer Tierra Del Forte visits the organic cotton fields which are the source of her denim, and the factory where it's transformed into fiercely current del Forte jean styles. In Colorado, we'll hitch a ride on a biodiesel truck to pick up dirty costumes with Rusty Perry of Revolution Cleaners, who demonstrates the safe, non-contaminating carbon dioxide process he uses as the official dry cleaners of several Colorado sports teams.
I think its a great line! Hopefully we can see a line for men! ;) But truelly organic cotton is the shizzle!!! Props to you miss green fashion!
