Minox in the Movies "Troop Beverly Hills" 1989

Betty Thomas shows Mary Gross how they are going to get photographic evidence to embarrass Shelley Long and her rival Girl Scout Troop. Betty cuts an opening in a book to hold a Minox B where the lens is exposed and the shutter button can be pressed surreptitiously. When she demonstrates this secret camera technique to co-conspirator Mary Gross, she is suitable impressed. "Wow", she says. I was impressed too. As Minox photography goes, this scene was entirely plausible although you would have had to open the book and remove the camera to advance the film for the next shot.
