Installed on q9650 proc. (3.0 gighertz) Real Temp 3.60 shows 38,32,32,33 at this moment. using Artic Silver 5. Cpu fan running very slow and Quiet. Great cooler that blows air on surrounding components. Will overclock later when paste breaks in. :)

is it possible to but a red 120mm led fan from coolermaster in place of the stock black fan? also will this fit a AM3 socket? thank you

If you have a Thermaltake Lanbox Lite, this is the CPU cooler for you!
I did a lot of searching and unfortunately most of the decent heatpipe coolers are all taller than 100mm (you only have about 100mm clearance between the CPU and the Power Supply).
With the fan attached the cooler is about 85mm tall, so you have a sufficient gap between the power supply and the cooler.

Curious why he's putting those (rails?)on it? For a larger fan? More explanation would be nice. :-)

I am thinking of getting this Cooler. I have two GeminII CPU coolers. I wanted to get this one for my girlfriend's PC. I am not going to overclock her CPU so it should be good enough to keep the temps low.
