@007BarnYard hey there, wow you posted your comment 8months ago and had no reply from the video poster - terrible!
what I do is 30 seconds slow pace, 30 seconds MAX pace. IF you were to do 5 minutes medium, 1 minute max.. then you would only have a few minutes fast paced exercise in half an hours work which doesnt seem like enough to me. But if you're recovering from injury then maybe a lighter program like the one ur suggesting could work.
...am i correct in thinking that i should be doing a low weight, high intensity workout on the bike?
my second question: if i usually do a half-hour workout (formerly half-hour runs, now half-hour bike sessions), would interval training still apply and be effective? if, say, i did a medium pace for 5 minutes, then a maximum pace for 1, then back to medium for 5 more, until i reach 30 mins? or do my intervals have to be shorter (30 seconds) like in your video?
i have 2 questions. i am a runner who recently suffered a knee injury (although im very young -- 18) and so im thinking about switching to a low-impact workout regimen instead, such as biking. the stationary bike i own has a dial that allows you to choose the "heaviness" of the pedals -- how hard it is to make a rotation. my first question: as a female, id like to go for a leaner look in my legs as opposed to a bulky, buff look... Is this a great thing for fast fat loss? :)

Hope the knee is better now and good luck!
