In America Rebuilds, a PBS documentary, World Trade Center owner Larry Silverstein admits to giving the order to "pull" building seven. What is the significance of this, you may ask? It takes weeks to set up a controlled demolition and on 9-11, Mr. Silverstein did not have weeks of preparation unless he knew building needed to be brought down due to a terrorist attack ahead of time.

As you have already been shown in a quote from a well known demolition expert, "pull it" it not used in the demo industry to refer to blowing up a building.
As you have also already been show, pull it was referring to the firefighting crew, not to an individual firefighter.

"We have never, ever heard the term 'pull it' being used to refer to the explosive demolition of a bldg, & neither has any blast team weve spoken with. The term is used in conventional demo circles to describe the specific activity of attaching long cables to a pre-weakened bldg & maneuvering heavy equipment to 'pull' the frame of the structure over onto its side for further dismantlement." - Brent Blanchard, Senior Editor, Implosion World, & Director of Field Operations, Protec.
