Can you tell it is an election year? Last November the Victorian Liberal opposition proposed that if they win the 2010 election they would man train stations at night with two security personnel and at the time of this announcement the Labor government did not support the idea. Now in a backflip the 2010 Major Policy Document outlines a proposal to put two armed PSO's (Protective Services Officers) at each train station every night. But don't tell Premier Brumby about the proposal as he seems to know nothing about it. The look on his face alone is worth watching this video! As reported on Channel 7 6pm evening news on 18th February 2010.
