Fieldsports Britain, episode 98, 12th October 2011

A pair of keen Australian foxshooters sent us one of their fox calls - and we are trying it out in Pomshire. It's the Thunder from Down Under but it brings in the foxes. We are also deerstalking in South Ayrshire with Chris Dalton of Ayrstalk.co.uk, we are training a peregrine to stoop on a kite (that's a children's kite - not the bird) and we are meeting our fellow hunting and shooting YouTubers to see why they like to commit their hunting successes to film.

i do loads of fox shooting 14yrs - 3 times a week and cubs will come to a fart if truth be told ..lets see it work on some old foxs ..i started off using the parm of my hand and have tryed all the calls but have gone back to my hand ..some work some dont this one looks like it works ..

My granfather been ueing a Tenterfield Whistle for years. You can make them out of a piece of tin yourself. I call up a fox the other day with one I made myself.

i think you tube has some great footage and its in the ordinary mans language. working men shooting with off the shelf kit get some outstanding results. and most of it is on bog standard land that is available to the average budget shooter. well done to fieldsportschannel for covering this !
