I feel pity for you cause of that! Please forgive my arrogance in that situation. Sometimes it is hard to different satire and things, which are not really "great" but came from soul or heart! I love this song as well and properbly my covers of it are bad as well sometimes...

Maybe its better when you would use something else for backround than a karaoke line. I think your voice is more suitable for acc guitar sound, maybe like blues.
