This is sample of how to build a engine with ceramic materials. For this machine can start we can modify several points like to increase the swept volume ratio between the displacer and power piston. To widen the rods for to minimize the friction, and be careful with a correct sealing. As you can see at the end the angle degree between the power piston and displacer is wrong. Nevertheless I invite you to continue this challenge...

  • Hello people! Sorry for I don't tune up this engine because at the moment I'm working on another innovative engine very fun! When I finish with the actual engine, I promise I will continue with the ceramic engine and you will see running properly.

  • Hi,

I am very impressed with your beginnings in ceramics. What was your idea behind?

Finally, the idea ofthe confined helium would reduce the heating temperature when the engine is started. It seems that the Ceramic avoids the escape of the maximum hélum.

If you can given a little more detail about your difficulties that would be used ...

If you have other idea of natural materials that would be cool.

The Great Canary, my preferred destination;)

  • Very Nice concept

Ceramic is using in the EHE Whispergen

  • waste of time!!!!!!!!
