I defy anyone to name a better rock guitarist than Ritchie Blackmore in the 70s no one and i mean no one has ever played guitar like Blackers did during those years he was awful at times during the 80s but recovered brilliantly in the 90s and at times got close to his level in the 70s he is still playing brilliantly even now at 64 in Blackmores Night
