From "The Yellow Princess" (1969)

  • Hiowdy! This was the second Fahey song I ever learned to play...the first being "Sunflower River Blues"...I played this for my dad...and he dismissed my efforts 'cause he wanted me to be a classical guitar player like Andres Segovia...whom I adore, but could never play like...I do a "version" of this in DADFAD that encompasses all the main themes...but...would Fahey ever have thought of it? Cheers! Blind Brand X.

  • This song is a classic. Puts me on a wooden schooner sailing across Lake Ponchartrain in the late 1800's.

  • and they still have not caught up

  • This guy was well ahead of his time.
