@ColdForgedCopper Not really, Tom probably just finds it easier to use a pick especially because he's singing at the same time. Lots of metal bassists use their fingers and most go faster than those who use picks.

@mallard290 when u/r playing as fast as SLAYER finger picking is too slow!!! sometimes u just got to use a pick!! any experienced metal bass player would know that!!!

It sucks how Slayer was opening up for W.A.S.P. who was the main act. Raven in turn opened up for Slayer. I remember this concert vividly 'cause I skipped out that day, got drunk, stoned and then went to the concert...dang..I was only 12!
