This is a video of Slayer performing one of the songs from their Reign in Blood album live in Toronto, 1/27/87. It's the Kerry King song "Jesus Saves," and it spawned a rash of bands like Deicide, Immolation, and others.

  • Kerry King is God

  • It sucks how Slayer was opening up for W.A.S.P. who was the main act. Raven in turn opened up for Slayer. I remember this concert vividly 'cause I skipped out that day, got drunk, stoned and then went to the concert...dang..I was only 12!

  • Neverending joy of force and wisdom!

  • tony scaglione was on drums this show (from whiplash) hung out with tony portaro's cousin in high school( drank beer with him)

  • I was @ this show 5th row floors. Don't recall Raven being on the bill.

This @ Massey Hall. Hung with Slayer after the show. Hanneman was drunk off his ass...

  • @michaelloudin his voice is cashed after all those years of scraming! shit who would'nt?!

  • @SCNRRR kerry king is a fucking jk of a guitar player all his shit is the same

  • i guess jeff hanneman doesnt exist

  • @ColdForgedCopper Not really, Tom probably just finds it easier to use a pick especially because he's singing at the same time. Lots of metal bassists use their fingers and most go faster than those who use picks.

  • Wild headbanging!

  • @darthvato33 What really sucks is SLAYER opening 4 marilyn manson aka, the rocky horror dick lick show!!! kids today don't know what real music is!!! the world IS coming to an end!!!

  • @mallard290 when u/r playing as fast as SLAYER finger picking is too slow!!! sometimes u just got to use a pick!! any experienced metal bass player would know that!!!
