If I was an archer on a rooftop and I saw Ezio I wouldn't try shoot him I'd be all like "Hello sir, feel free to use as much of the roofs as you can and I just remembered I was meant to be guarding the other side of the city! g2g bye!"

Alright guys: executive decision making time. :) Enough bickering. It matters little whether they were real or not. We celebrate characters in our daily lives and there's nothing wrong with that. We admire guts and people who stand firm and stay true to their belief: definite qualities of the Assassin's. Whether they existed or not isn't what matters. What does matter is that we enjoy a good game/song and we entertain the hope and champion the belief that people like them continue to exist.
