Dance Flurry 2007 - Recipe for a Dynamite Dance Flurry

www.danceflurry.org .... I was honored to be invited by Berkshire Film & Video to help document Dance Flurry 2007 in Saratoga Springs, NY during February and had so much fun that I wanted to share a small part of it with all those dancers, singers, musicians and lovers of all types of entertainment out there who might never have experienced this wonderful event. For those who are looking for a unique and fun way to spend a winter weekend, this is the place. It might be cold outside but inside the participants generate their own heat. Congratulations to Doug Haller, Peter Davis and the rest of the Dance Flurry Board for putting on a Dynamite! Dance Flurry 2007.

If the public is aware that there are other types of activities available the Flurry will draw more people and more support. Personally I was blown away by how well so many forms of dance and music could come together to create such a wonderful weekend. Amazing! This video is like Hamlet with out the prince -- a review of the Dance Flurry without one segment showing the most popular dance form featured at the Flurry. There are absolutley no segments showing contra dancing. The closest were a couple of segments showing callers, but no actual dancing.
