EMS 1 - Schizophrenic Universe

First assignment for Electronic Media Studio 1, Stealing and Remixing. The premise of the project was to combine found footage into a new composition to explore concepts or possible altered stories. No original footage could be used.

Please share your thoughts on the work! Advice and comments would be much appreciated!

The original works were a film called "Silent Snow, Secret Snow" from the 60s and recent footage of aurora borealis and black holes. The song is by Carbon Based Lifeforms called "Right Where It Ends" I choose to cut all the scenes that were close ups of the boys face to add some emotion to the work while blending the ideas of massive scale compared to atoms and particles. The voices are from the narrator of the original film and the song. There is an underlying message to the work, but you can interpret it for yourself...
