Request from the NISA message board.

This is the first part of the first actual battle in the Sakura Wars V : Farewell, My Love videogame (original Japanese PS2 version). It basically shows the tutorial on how to fight when in "ground-mode". Unlike the previous SW games, you only control the main male character in this battle... well, at first anyway. He isn't captain yet.

Part 2 coming next, where things start looking bleak.

Enjoy!

SAKURA WARS (TAISEN) and all related media are owned by SEGA and Red Company. I make no claims as to owning them, or using them for any monetary profit.

  • Do they get new, cooler looking mechs as the game progresses?

  • @kiketsuu No, the stay the same throughout, which I believe is the only one of the 5 canonical games that doesn't have some new Koubu appear at the end.

  • @Blahdabbadoo The battle music changes depending on the situation. Yes, this track is a little comical, but there are more serious battle tracks in the game.

  • 9999 views ZOMFG!!11!1!

  • @PHT066 I know, I was shocked, too.

  • PS2's are still being made...

  • You should buy it from the regular gamestop site, you can preorder the game at the store too for only 40 dollars, you get the premium edition. 60 dollars is way too much to buy for this game. If you order from gamestop today, you get 10 dollars off the 40 dollar price too so you would be saving around 20 dollars for this game.

  • COOL!

  • do they have any English subtitles in this game?

  • I've thinking about getting this game ... . . . .but this music is changing my mind! Ugh! Kinda lame! I like light hearted music in serious games with a quirky contrast like in SMT games... but this is just really bad! WTF?!?!
