One of the ARM representatives had a Google Android device available for demonstration at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona and I had a chance to talk with him and see it in action. It was the device from HTC and it felt solid in your hand with great responsiveness as well.

This design is inferior to the production model, which has a Sidekick-style slideout screen, allowing for a much larger and usable keyboard. Thanks goodness Google had enough sense to realize the importance of this.

It's not running at 620MHz, it's underclocked to 415Mhz.

Nice. Running on a 200Mhz 'ish processor and Android still responds quickly. Sadly my iphone 3g isnt quite as fast even at 620MHz.
