i just saw the '65 Dr. Zhivago and really liked the movie. usually i don't like these older movies. i saw war and peace also. i like the book, but for the movie, i liked this one better. Julie Christie did a great job.

Julie Christie is a wonderful woman and a great actress. I've just finished to watch "Darling". Beautiful but above all an expressive face, with vivid eyes and smile. I happen to think that she would have deserved more from her career. She's often connected to her early movies...I often wonder why she had her peak between mid sixties and early seventies..."Billy Liar", "Darling", "Zivago", "Fahreneit 451", "The go-between"...but after she was a bit forgotten by Directors...
