Sparks ambitious yet irresistible fusion of Mael-esque pop, classical arrangements, and futuristic iconography should have rocketed the group to massive commercial success in the 1970s. OK, not quite, but Kimono My House, Propaganda and Indiscreet all charted impressively. And I love Lil Beethoven from year 2000.
