Undisputedly the biggest and most spectacular Awards Ceremony on the British hospitality calendar, British Curry Awards was established in 2005, and is organised by industry Bible Spice Business magazine.
There are 12,000 Indian restaurants all over the UK and Ireland with an annual turnover of £4.2 billion yearly and directly employing around 100,000 people.
As the Rt Hon Prime Minister David Cameron, who was chief guest at the British Curry Awards 2009 said, "Look around tonight. We have the finest curry restaurants; record 40,000 nominations, the Oscars of the Spice industry, Enam Ali and all of you. You should be incredibly proud of what you have achieved".
You will be celebrating industry success alongside kings and queens and famous stars from the worlds of film, dance, entertainment, industry and, of course, cooking and treated to a night of drama, tension and entertainment. Last year 1600 guests attended the sell-out event. This is also an opportunity for companies to raise their global profile, not only at a national level but international as well because the 6th British Curry Awards will be beamed to 150 countries across Europe, North America and Asia by various TV channels making it almost a planetary event.
The countdown has started for this year's Awards ceremony, which will take place at 6-30pm on Sunday 21st November 2010 at the Great Room, Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London.
