早春賦 Soshunfu (A Song Of Early Spring)

A lovely Japanese song, beautifully arranged for guitar by Toru Takemitsu.

Wrong time of the year to be learning it, but what the heck!

This is played on my new guitar; an Alhambra 9p......a bargain from E-Bay.

It is quite loud and is taking some getting used to!

What a surprise! You played well-known Japanese piece arranged by Takemitsu. The 12 songs for guitar by Takemitsu are very beautiful but challenging pieces technically. You mastered this tough piece briliantlly. Take a look at Kaori Muraji playing this in the related vids. She is brilliant. She has infinitely more ability than me + a £5k mixing desk and a £5k guitar to hand.
