Gosh down on the Corniche... Hope you managed to check out the Metropolitan Cafe and Bakery down there.... they were one of the best places to eat for lunch.

We didn't had much free time in Luxor, there is much to see and we had only two days. But thanks for hint, I'll try to visit that place in my next trip to Egypt (2010 or 2011 I hope). Have you tried bargaining (I hope it is the right word) in shops? It is lot of fun... I bought very nice statue of Anubis for only five egyptian pounds, one candy with picture of Miceky Mouse, rest of pack Halls and 35 minutes bargaining. Everyone enjoyed it, even shop owner... :)
