If a food results in plenty of mucus production... there's probably something in the food that your body doesn't like...

I eat foods that my body LOVES! Guess what folks?

NO MORE MUCUS!

Mucus is something that I don't experience anymore.

I call my diet 'Fruitarianism'.

Some people call it 'The Mucusless'diet, The Low Fat Raw Vegan (LFRV) Diet, some people call it the 80/10/10 diet or 955 diet after Dr. Douglas Graham's book.

Foods that cause mucus are things that you shouldn't be putting in your body. Cooked foods cause mucus, lots of it!

  • Nice video! I''ve practiced Ehret's Mucusless Diet for almost 10 years and know people who have practiced it over 30 years. Check out a video of a 30 year practitioner of Arnold Ehret's Mucusless Diet talking about his lifestyle and 9 1/2 Month fasts.

  • It wasn't until I watched this video that I realise how much I hate the word 'mucus'. I don't ever think I've heard 'mucus' said so much in such a short space of time.

  • the truth.

  • Mucus keeps your nasal passages moist and protects you from infections, you want some mucus in your system

  • @Brandonian3030 You wont need so much protein as you think, 2.5% of total calories is the requirement of protein. I suggest eating plenty of fruit if you want to avoid mucus, eat bananas and dates, they are the staple foods of the fruit bat. :)

  • i have 1 question. where does the protien come from if all your eating is fruits and veggies. this question is coming from someone who does suffer with mucus problems. i love this idea and am currently trying it as we speak due to sinusitis. but i need my protein! im so hungry! ;)

  • Grains are not the natural food source for Cows either :)

  • Just discovered your videos. I really like them. Your skin looks amazing for your age.

  • Mike? can you give some links to some of the content you're talking about? I'd like to do some videos about this! GREAT WORK (as always)

  • @harrys2912 He said "mucus" 33 times.

  • @CantWeedThis I'm not on the raw diet but i rarely have to "hawk up a loogie" that doesn't sound normal haha

  • Soy is mucus forming, great point, it is thought to be healthy by many, but lets face it, it forms mucus! Its probably still better than meat and dairy, but not optimal, thanks nice vid.
