Me and some other people who were around at the time were interviewed for this documentary about squatting in Philadelphia, filmed by James Fattu. We recounted some of our experiences during our time squatting in Philly and shared some philosophy in regards to squatting etc.

Features the abandoned oil refinery at Greys Ferry (RIP) which people also called the "oil cans", although calling oil drums the size of buildings "cans" makes them sound a little too small.

The music in the beginning is from a recording my old band Eulogy made inside the oil drums. I'll be posting footage of that soon, also.... music along the lines of Crash Worship or Test Dept. We later went on to explore totally different avenues of sound, but the refinery was our spiritual birthplace and genesis of our sound.

  • why they kill a cat =[ assholes

  • squatting is not punk, nor is it hippie. it's anarchy at it's finest. to declare that they can live without being a slave to the government in ways of work or paying rent and survive on their own. on their own terms.

  • The music sounds old school industrial, pretty rad.

  • Robins squat was really nice!!

  • Rent is theft.

  • @WhollyGhost I think it is the squatter logo (with the arrow going up at the end of the N)

  • @amiekat No, it's self-entitlement and laziness at it's finest. Everyone else works for what they have but they think they are special. If they moved out west to one of the huge forests and built a log cabin home themselves or with their friends, they could have some respect for that.

  • @amiekat right on better to have nothing and be free than to have everything and be in bondage

  • @kenny1243 - & ate it! Ewwwww
