  • What is the advantage of stretching the PVC?

  • @mstk421 You want the float line to stretch to help reduce the ability of the fish to jerk the spear out. The Dyneema does not stretch. Thats why I put 125 feet of dyneema in 100 foot of PVC.

  • Hey great video I really think I am going to follow your steps and make my own and save some money! Speaking of which what was the total cost for all the parts required to make this float line? Did you save money or break even?

  • @Okinawapajero You should be able to make two for the price of buying one. So it is worth doing.

  • @Breathlesssight The plugs are from neptonic systems. They are just called float line plugs and can be found in the float-line supplies area.

  • you sure this tube is made of pvc? it looks really flexible, just like it was a silicone one...
