On December 1, we attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Centennial Campus Student Housing at NC State University in Raleigh, NC. It was a monumental occasion that has been years in the making as the new housing facility will bring to life living quarters, a cafeteria, a bookstore and a library on the Centennial Campus which is home to NCSU's engineering and textile programs. This video shows the vice chancellor, chancellor and other faculty and staff share just how important this project is to the growth of NCSU.
McKim & Creed was a subconsultant to the architect, LS3P, and provided engineering design services for the 347,000 square foot complex. Our staff performed the advanced site planning and civil engineering services required to expand the utilities and infrastructure that will serve the complex (including an extension of Main Campus Drive to serve the complex), as well as the east portion of the Oval.
