How to change the appearance of your jailbroken iPod touch - using winterboard

A tutorial on how to change the appearance of your jailbroken iPod touch, such the theme and lockscreen ect...
don't use with iPhone, it appears too buggy or something.

Requires cydia - from jailbreaking

When i load a theme using winterboard it changes the theme but the apps stay the same. I made sure the theme comes with the custom apps but it still doesn't want to change my apps? Can you help...

If you jailbreaked with black ra1n then it wont work most likley. try to jailbreak with something else like redsn0w 0.9

Yeah, there seems to be a problem with winterboard if you jailbreak with blackra1n. maybe try a different jailbreak and see if it makes a difference.

Damn it man. I installed winterboard and now my ipod is stuck on a black screen... Can you reply?

If it got stuck on the black screen after you rebooted, then that means you have a tethered jailbreak. To fix it, simply just plug your iPod into the computer and re-run blackra1n.

I don't like how you have to have cyidia or jailbreak your iPod touch to do this stuff it takes a long time to do cyidia!:(

@1010TaylorF once u have downloaded winterboard u go to change themes u check off what settings u want 4 ur background and u hit optimize theme and on the top left corner u hit resping and what ever ur current wallpaper is that will end up being ur backgroung
