from meat is murder album... never totally happy with the way i play it, but gets better w/ every attempt. there is also this interlocking nashville tuned part that sits on top of the chorus riff, and i always miss it with just one guitar.
i think i finally figured out the correct fingerings/positions of the pre-chorus arpeggiated riff... never seemed to sound or lay right in 1st position... but then again... just me.
might do another take of this in a week when it's totally under my fingers but good enough for now.. must be the OCD lol.

  • good but slow down a bit!

  • @WillClarkMusic Why? That's the tempo.

  • That sounds better than any other version. What's with the Capo? I thought it was on open E. You also have a fantastic guitar and amp sound. Great playing mate!

  • @alexandermorison

What's with the capo? G strings are meant to be tuned to G not G#. A strings are meant to be tuned to A not B. Just saving my strings. Open D with capo on 2 = open E

  • Great job, man. Way better than mine.

Is that a Rolland Jazz Chorus amp? I love my AC30, but I think I might need one of those to replace my Fender Ultra Chorus...

  • @modfather1965 yeah its a jc-120. i don't know anything about about the fender ultra chorus, but if this is the kind of sound you are going for i recommend finding a jc-120 from the 80's. i don't know what it is, but they just sound better to me. you have to watch the treble though... it can peel paint depending on the guitar or pickup you're using.
