Religion is a Fraud - Street Action 01/14/2012

We hit downtown Vancouver with our banner Saturday afternoon and came across a group of anti-abortion protesters. They decided to leave right when we arrived, but a young man with a small speaker and microphone decided to stick around and converse for a bit.

Here is some info on the supposed healing of amputees at the azusa street revival:

As you can see, there is very little mention of healing amputees, and absolutely nothing that could be considered proof as such, just more baseless claims by religious people with no evidence.

@rubbermuck we tend to only upload the videos where things get interesting, but 90% of the time we spend on the street all we hear is people telling us that we're' doing a good job', that they are 'glad we're out on the streets', that it's 'about time someone was doing this'.

many people are sick and tired of this idea that religion should not be challenged, or it's best to leave it alone. people are glad we are doing this.

Whenever anyone is bashing religion in general, Why is it the Westernized Christian doctrine is always the one put the Atheist litmus test, even though eastern concepts of God are quite different and in fact ahead of modern science. (Google: Vedanta and Quantum physics). Most Atheist's and Christian's knowledge on eastern religions is very superficial, This is why, Christians especially, fall for the most nonsensical bullshit that insults the intelligence of the Atheist, hence the conflict.
