Hellas Sat Launch - 1st Hellenic Satellite

The First Greek Sattelite which was Launched in May 14 2003.
The Satellite covers entire Europe and a huge part of Middle East,Asia and Australia.
It was used for the Media cover of the Athens 2004 Olympics while also serves
the Greek Armed Forces considering the safety of its Communications.
25 countries and 400 million people are within its range.
Its distance is 35.680 km over Earth.
It is considered one of the most modern
satellites worldwide.
