Twenty-years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, German Chancellor Angela Merkel addressed a joint meeting of Congress to discuss issues around the world including Afghanistan, climate change and int'l financial regulation. She met earlier in the day with Pres. Obama.

@Meskiagkasher I'm really sick that ppl think we are the only one's with an army, there are like at least 10 different Foreign troops in Afghanistan & Britain was in Iraq too! Not only America is the problem. & You say you(personal)committed no crimes. I'm not stupid I know that, but then you say America is violent society as if we are personally responsible for killing ppl in Iraq or w.e. Does that make sense? @Meskiagkasher 1% of our population is in prison because we have stricter laws than liberal Europe, ex: '3 strikes law' in USA if you go to Jail twice, & then you steal a candy bar you go to Jail for life! I'm not joking... this is why the prison population keeps growing. It's tough but if you think about it makes sense, if you went to Jail 2x's & then steal again they proved they can't be rehabilitated.

& Yes Americans are usually at war, but other countries always fight with us like Germany.

@Oleh2011 I committed no crimes at all and as I said WW2 was a long time ago and nobody cares today. It is present crimes that count. US troops are in Germany today only because of NATO.

When since WW2 has the US ever not been at war? Americans are a violent society and they like conflict, that's why 1% of the US population is in prison. Americans are generally uneducated and uncivilized, but greedy and hedonistic. They are now where Europeans were 100 years ago. Grow the fuck up.
