yes oldpossum in fact i would say that she actually says "life" in the first verse and "love" in the second instead of the other way round. however don't forget that yeats adopted the poem from an ld irish folk song so we may never know what the original was. anyway it was beautifully sung by maura and karen.
So true. I've seen her in another vid on youtube with De Danann when she was much younger. She already had a wonderful voice, higher and purer, but here i hear a deeper sorrow and feeling. This is one of the most moving performances ever
