Warped 2007, Ventura. As Street Drum Corps were completing their set, Shannon makes a guest appearance to join them for a final song.

Any Video of this broken drumset episode?

In ths video, the first set he is on almost falls over... he drums with a lot of energy and power. My first teacher always wanted me to be softer and treat my drums with respect. Whatever! Respect them by making them SING for ya (when ya beat on them :P )

I think he did an awesome job - very intense. He plays with a lot of heart... and very charismatic.

He is definitely one of my favourite drummers. But, I am not going to say 'He is the best drummer in the world' because that just seems a bit silly - I havent seen every drummer in the world and I like different drummers for the different things they bring to the table.

I do love high-energy players... of which Shannon definitely is one. He seems so intuitive with his playing. Its great.
